Beach cleanups: collect trash that washes ashore using buckets and grabbers
Critter Round Ups: pull seining nets during summer education programs

Alliance for a Living Ocean works on and around Long Beach Island. Beach cleanups run every fall and spring. The summer seining program, which the group calls Critter Round Ups, runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Two cleanups are already on the 2026 calendar.
