About this role
What you would do
- Organization Club: organize shelves in the children's and teen sections
- Teen Advisory Board: plan programs, choose events and lead community outreach
- Chess Tutors: teach chess to students in grades 3 to 7
- Math Tutors: help students in grades 1 to 12 with math on Saturdays
- Tech Helpers: troubleshoot technology issues on Mondays and Saturdays
- Library Art Club: create window displays, bulletin boards and craft designs
- Teen Library Feedback: fill out feedback forms at programs for volunteer credit
Old Bridge Public Library runs several teen volunteer tracks at its Central Branch. Some roles run year round and some follow the school year. Math tutor slots open only before a new school year starts and are not filled mid-year. Staff will email or print a volunteer hour verification letter on request.
