About this role
What you would do
Teen Advisory Board: help plan and implement library programs for all ages at your local branch
Teen Advisory Board: give input on teen services at the Ocean County Library
Adopt a Shelf: keep the books in proper order on the shelves
Teen Book Reviewer: read and review the latest YA books, up to 24 service hours a year
Teen Media Reviewer: review music, games or films, up to 24 service hours a year
Virtual volunteering: take on remote tasks that vary by branch
The Ocean County Library runs teen volunteer roles at branches across the county. School year roles run from September through May. A teen volunteer shift is usually one to two hours. The library has 21 locations, so you can work at the branch closest to you.
