About this role

What you would do

  • Write and submit book reviews the Library uses to help other readers find books
  • Review books read for pleasure, not titles assigned for schoolwork
  • Submit up to one review per week, counted Monday through Sunday
  • Earn one hour of volunteer credit for each approved review
This role is done from home, so teens can take part on their own schedule. Reviews are used by the Somerset County Library System to point other readers toward books they may enjoy. Certificates for service time go out four times a year, in spring, summer, fall and winter.
