People for Animals runs veterinary clinics and community pet programs in New Jersey, including the Hillside clinic. Much of the work supports families who want to keep their pets through a hard stretch. New clinic volunteers do not handle animals at first, and hands on care comes with time and initiative. Clinic volunteers are asked to keep a steady week to week schedule.
