What this site is

NJ High School Volunteers is a directory. We collect volunteer opportunities that are open to New Jersey students aged 13 to 18 and we describe them in plain language.

We are not the organization

Every listing links out to the organization that runs the program. We do not run those programs, screen their staff, supervise their sites, or control their content. We are not responsible for what happens once you contact them or show up.

Accuracy

Every listing shows the date we last checked it. Details change without notice. Confirm the age rules, the hours, and the schedule with the organization before you plan around them.

Service hours

Whether hours count toward a school requirement is decided by your school, not by us. When a listing says hours are verified, that is what the organization stated. Ask your school and the organization before you start.

Submitting a listing

When you send us a listing, you confirm you have the right to share it and that the details are accurate. We may edit it for length and clarity, or decline to publish it.
