About this role
The Zoo Conservation Crew is built for high school aged teens. Members take part in citizen science projects, conservation efforts and habitat restoration while learning about wildlife and sharpening their public speaking. After training sessions, ZCC members station themselves around the zoo to educate visitors about local wildlife. Alongside talking with the public, members help restore habitats on zoo grounds. Training and conservation projects run one Sunday a month from September through May.
