About this role

What you would do

Split Wood and Collect Kindling: keep the campfire wood supply stocked
Lake Maintenance: remove unwanted plant matter and care for the floating wetlands
Trail Maintenance: cut back brush, clear fallen logs and mark trails
Office Assistance: scan and upload files, sort and process camp forms
Program Area Assistant: help staff lead archery, boating, arts and crafts or nature exploration
Special events: run a craft or activity station, park cars, greet families, set up and clean up

Fairview Lake YMCA Camps sits on a lake in northern Sussex County and runs summer camp plus school year programs. The work shifts with the season, so some jobs are outdoors and some are in the office. The camp also hosts students and scouts doing service projects.
