About this role

What you would do

Nursing Assistant: spend quality time with patients, provide transport and run errands
Meal Mate: assist patients who are unable to feed themselves
Gift Shop: work the cash register and Lottery machine
Clerical Support: lend a helping hand to office staff
Attend volunteer orientation before your first shift

Palisades Medical Center is on River Road in North Bergen. Student volunteers choose a placement and work a set weekly shift, and summer placements are open too. A physician consent form and a sponsor evaluation from the school go in with the application. The hospital gives job and college references after eighty hours.
