About this role
Holy Name places junior volunteers in roles that fit individual schedules and interests. Sampling of areas includes the Brewtique gift shop running the register and delivering flowers to patients, the Cancer Center and MS Infusion greeting and escorting patients, the child care center supporting teachers during playtime and story time, the information desk providing wheelchair assistance and directions, food and nutrition services, central sterile supply, rehab services and patient transport. Volunteers are trained for the position they hold, and no prior experience is needed. Applications are accepted twice a year, for the summer and winter sessions.
