About this role
Program Helpers assist with one or more library programs a month, which may include Lego League, Game Afternoon, Craft Afternoon, Decorating Crew and the Halloween Party. Closing Crew volunteers collect misplaced books, push in chairs upstairs and downstairs and pick up toys in the Children's Room at the end of the day. Theater Club members practice, produce, schedule, design and stage a children's book theater production for younger kids at the library. Teen Advisory Group members develop and promote programs, volunteer opportunities and services for the teen population. Teens can also earn a volunteer hour by attending a teen program and then emailing the librarian for a volunteer form.
