About this role

What you would do

Visitor Services: act as ambassadors of the Museum and the front line of communication with external parties
Spark!Lab Ambassador: work with children and families and assist in setup and clean up of hands-on activities
Bickford Theatre Usher: help seat the audience and then sit back and enjoy the show
Museum Shop: help price new merchandise, take payments and stock displays
Gallery Docent and Guinness Collection Guide: learn about new exhibits, then share your knowledge with visitors
Museum Education: lead weekend tours for families and prepare supplies for educational programming
Membership and Development: work on all phases of Museum Membership, from recruiting new members to renewals

The Morris Museum in Morristown holds art, science and history collections, including the Guinness Collection of mechanical musical instruments. The building also houses the Bickford Theatre. Volunteers pick a department and work alongside the staff in that area.
