Food Rescue Hero, I-Rescue App

Table to Table runs New Jersey's first and largest food rescue program entirely through volunteers using the I-Rescue app. You browse available rescues on a map, claim a one-time or weekly route, then pick up surplus fresh and prepared food from a grocery store, restaurant, caterer or corporate cafeteria and deliver it free to a nearby food pantry, shelter or group home. Most rescues take about an hour. Rescues run seven days a week throughout the day in Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Morris and Passaic counties. Table to Table confirms it will sign off on required community service hours and can provide a verification letter on request.
