About this role
What you would do
- Guest Services: staff the INFO Desk, answer questions and register visitors for tours
- Park Guides: guide visitors through outdoor spaces, give directions and watch for safety
- Gallery Guides: monitor indoor exhibitions and assist visitors
- Education Volunteers: hand out supplies and support workshop activities
- SmArt Cart Volunteers: run mobile Science meets ART activities with visitors
- Performing Arts Volunteers: collect tickets, seat guests and support events
- Garden Volunteers: horticultural maintenance, Monday to Friday, year round
Grounds For Sculpture is an outdoor sculpture park and museum in Hamilton. Volunteers pick a role and build their own schedule, and weekend-only schedules are accepted. The park asks for at least 50 hours of service per calendar year. In-service training is offered throughout the year.
