About this role
What you would do
- Work the exhibit floors during your weekly shift
- Interact directly with LSC guests and help them get the most out of every visit
- Wear the aqua LSC shirt and yellow lanyard that identify you as a volunteer
- Attend an all day training session after you are accepted
Liberty Science Center sits inside Liberty State Park in Jersey City. Youth volunteers spend their shift out on the exhibit floors with guests rather than behind the scenes. New volunteers go through a full day of training and customer service coaching before their first shift. The center asks for a long commitment, so plan for a full school year.
